Koh Kood is located in the eastern most coast at Trat, in Gulf of Thailand. Because of its distance from the city, the seawater is crystal clear and is the natural habitat for corals; marine flowers, various colour fishes, and some rare crabs. Travelers visiting the attractive Koh Kood will enjoy the white sandy beach, the mountain, and the waterfall.
Accommodation with a private atmosphere is available for visitors at the inner sea of Koh Kood, and the other two islands, Koh Rat and Koh Mai Si, opposite to Koh Kood.
Most visitors to Koh Kood have to purchase a package tour offered by resort operators on Koh Kood at different prices that includes food, accommodation, and a boat fare. A boat for rent is also available apart from a ferry boat leaving Dan Kao Pier and Laem Ngob Pier.

For your information : When travelling overland to your booked accommodation on an island without its own airport, make sure that boat and train schedules match with each other. If you travel overland by own car, it is very important to arrive at the boat pier in time in order to catch the boat. Various islands offer limited boat transfer from and to the mainland, especially when traveling in the early morning / late evening. It is highly recommendable to add extra time to your planned travel plan.
